Rapidex Launches CBTs To Make Self Learning Easy And Fun
The CBTs come bundled with its three hugely popular courses – Rapidex Computer Course, Rapidex Self Letter Drafting Course and Rapidex Office Secretarial Course.
The cutting edge e-learning solutions have been created by New Delhi-based Wisitech InfoSolutions Pvt Ltd for Pustak Mahal, the publishers of the Rapidex series.
The Rapidex Office Secretary Course is aimed at helping the learner be a good office secretary and pick up basic secretarial skills such as Typing and Shorthand with ease. Says Sonali Nandi, Project Leader for the CBT, “We developed a special typing software which helps the learner pick up typing skills right from the first fingering through 27 lessons upto the advanced level. The learner can also time himself, check speed, avoid mistakes, build word power, and so on, in an interactive way, sitting right at home. Plus the CBT also helps the learner pick up basic computer skills and learn to use office software. The learner does not need to go to a secretarial school at all.”
The Rapidex Self Letter Drafting Course teaches users how to write and type various kinds of letters - official and personal, formal and informal, in Microsoft Word 2007, Notepad and WordPad. Attractive graphics coupled with engaging voiceover makes the learning process interactive and enjoyable.
The CBT for the popular Rapidex Computer Course handholds the learner through various steps of using a computer and the most popular and oft-used applications such as Windows Vista, computer fundamentals, office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc and the internet.
About the CBTs
Wisitech used the most innovative, highly advanced and sophisticated technology for preparing the three CBTs. Keeping in view the purpose of the three self-learning courses and their specific target audience, detailed storyboards were created to graphically illustrate the learning steps and develop the interactive modules with the help of animated characters and voiceover.
To make the learning experience more interesting, the CBTs were divided into two modes – demo mode and interactive mode. The demo mode served as an interesting introduction to the subject where the learners listen to the demonstration and understand the topics. The interactive mode encouraged the learners to participate and perform the given tasks themselves.
All the three CBTs are easy to use due to their advanced user interface design. While making the CBT, the team of designers incorporated latest Web 2.0 features and usability aspects and stressed on good, smooth navigation, colour and simplicity.
Whether it is about developing web site or creating CBTs, Wisitech creates designs with an appropriate look and feel and offers solutions to its clients in the USA, Europe and other countries.
